Let’s try an exercise to deepen our conscious connection with unconditional love: Think about someone you care deeply about or something you did that brought a huge smile to your face and warmth to your heart. What was it about that person or event that was so satisfying? Is that something you’d like more of in your life?
So as a Take-away Activity: I’d like to invite you to pay attention to the various forms that unconditional love takes in your life - from your interactions with others and from your environment. It might be something as simple as the feeling of gratitude that you actually woke us this morning. Not everyone who went to bed last night did! Or realizing the number of people who would grieve if you died. Or the fact that your senses are working, or that the breath you're taking right now is only possible because the trees are converting the carbon dioxide from your spent breath into oxygen so that you've got fresh air to take into your lungs. What we focus on expands. As you start expanding your awareness of the many forms of unconditional love actually present in your life you'll discover that there's far more love and blessings in your life than you realize.
